G'day Mrs Rabbit,
I do believe The systane drops are a good all rounder for an eye lubricant. However, You also have a friend making colloidal silver ,so ,may I suggest that you could obtain some of this & using an eye bath, & undiluted colloidal silver , soak  the closed affected eye & surrounds for a few minutes a couple of times a day for a few days. You will soon see if this is an infection as it should improve readily.

G'day All,
Many thanks to everyone  for your good wishes,I was pretty impressed with the efforts as this was the first time anything has ever been entered competition wise ,anywhere ,by us . What  we have found out is that Tassie has some internationally recognized cooks,& because of this , suddenly everyone down here is now a food critic. I have just put on a Chicken & veggie Noodle soup  for supper To return this post  to the subject matter

G'day Chip,
I make our pie with the leftover roasted lamb & veggies with a rich rosemary & mint gravy that I  stir through as a binder & put on a mashed spud topping that I bake till the top browns a little , sometimes i put some grated block cheese ,& tomato slices on the top as well. True Shepherds pie can't be made with beef mince like some say it can,I think  the name gives away the meat that is used . We call that a Beef & potato or spud pie if beef is used. The West Coast is a bit more remote & rugged than the east & really cops the Roaring 40s winds, I have seen four wheel drive trucks disappear in the foam on a beach that was whipped up by this wind.Macquarrie harbor is one of the East coasts major areas with fishing, mining, logging & tourism being the major employers. Have a look at Strauchan on google if you are curious.

G'day Guys,
This was a justified friendly reminder from the new hive not to be complacent .The bees natural predator is the black bear & I was wearing navy blue overalls & a black T shirt as i thought  it was going to be a quick job. I did not do what I should have, I didn't smoke the hive & I had  no veil or wear white with no pockets or openings,Stings go with the territory but this one would have brought a tear to a glass eye .It amazes me how quick you remember stuff when the sting is on.

G'day Guys,
What is the fastest thing up the paddock in Tasmania,? ME!!.  I went down to & put a supplemental feed into the top feeder of a new nucleus colony hive under the cherry trees & one of the Girls took exception to this kind gesture & got into my bib & brace overalls & stung me in the groin, near the crown jewels . Talk about give you the hurry up,I was  very curious as to whether there were any more surprises in the nether regions of the overalls & was not keen on a repeat performance,so i did the bolt up to the relative safety of the lounge room stripping off my clothes as I went. The Minister for War & finance was laughing fit to burst until another girl came out in the lounge  room from my ditched clothing . Needless to say,I put the old remedy to good use, Chip.

G'day All,
If you have been on a course of antibiotics then you can be prone to yeast infections, so use yogurt with an acidophilus strain of culture & drink a cinnamon tea made from one half teaspoon of ground cinnamon to a cup of boiling water if you need it a bit sweeter then a little honey may be added but not to much . This is supposed to help with cramps as well , though I have never tried it for cramps.
