Clauss Garden Club Shears
« on: July 11, 2016, 09:43:41 PM »
I have a pair of Clauss Garden Club Shears that are in excellent condition and work great. This is a link to a pair identical to mine.

https://www.etsy.com/listing/254011294/vintage-clauss-garden-club-flower-shears?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping_us_d-home_and_living-other&utm_custom1=18235808-379f-4086-b9f1-5242007ec8d0&gclid=CNfuvO7w7M0CFYM2aQod0kkOnA

The problem is, I do not know the correct way to use them. When I clip something off of a plant, does the cutting edge face the plant or does the pinching edge go towards the plant? I hope that makes sense.

Thanks for any help.

I do not have this pruner I have a Felco Anvil and a Bi pass style.

On the anvil style I alway put the Anvil side DOWN and on by Bi pass pruners  the cutting edge next to the main stem.
