The Ghost of obama is still haunting us
« on: February 10, 2017, 09:34:15 AM »
Director Dan Ashe, a second-generation career employee of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, issued the directive Thursday on the last full day of the Obama Administration. It would require the use of “nontoxic ammunition and fishing tackle to the fullest extent practicable” on lands and waters controlled by the agency by January 2022.

This is the new nationwide push!We have to get rid of the lead! It carries so much weight with the business world that many ammo companies are now making bullets out of zinc, copper and even plastic.I watched a show last night where a german company is producing a plastic 308 round used for training purposes. It is a 10.2-grain plastic bullet powered by 10.4 grains of stick powder housed in a plastic casing with a metal rim to be caught by the extractor. It is said to travel at 4,400fps and will go thru 1/4 inch plywood at 100 yards. My understanding is that close range it is accurate but not so much out a ways.

Looks like I'm going to need more ammo!
