Glen Cambell--Gone---RIP
« on: August 08, 2017, 07:11:42 PM »
We were the same age 81, there was two times Jewel & I heard him in live performance. The one at Canton OH. holds the best memory. We had excellent seats and Jewel was sitting in an isle seat. During the show Glen left the stage while singing came up that isle singing and shaking hands, when he got to Jewel there was a slight pause in the song as he took her hand, he looked at her and  smiled as he turned to go down the other side. We don't remember the song he was singing but Jewel still remembers the night.

He was one of my favorite singers, lots of really good songs.  My favorites were Wichita Lineman and True Grit.
