Curtis SE_Tex is good and well................
« on: September 01, 2017, 09:15:21 PM »
I just got off the phone with Curtis.........    They are staying at a friends house not far from his house....

His house is high and dry, but no electric and he ran out of gas for his generator. So he got out of there with a boat. The coast guard or the wildlife and fisheries picked them up and their friends met them at the pickup point..........

He says a BIG HELLO to all and thanks for the concern ~!~!

He will have some stories to tell at the GTG in October.......
I'm a optimist. Pessimists think all girls are bad. The optimist hope he's right ~!~!

I was thinking about Curtis.  He's not to far from my people in TX, so so glad he made it with no big issues.

All,
Thanks for the prayers and thoughts. We are fine! A bit out of balance but nobody hurt or sick! GOD is good, all the time! My house has no water in it. The only way to access my house is by boat. I boated in yesterday and cleaned out the freezers and fridge. Lots of things to throw out but I managed to get there before it all rotted and began to stink. Some items were still cold so I donated that to the church for feeding those less fortunate than us.
We have no transportation other than my daughter's little car so I am not able to get back to work yet. Hopefully will be able to get back to my truck soon.
GOD Bless! We are in need of nothing at this time! This is just a minor inconvenience compared to many! I have houses that are 300 yards from mine that have water to the eaves of the house. There was one boating accident where two people came in contact with the power lines. That will let you know how deep water is in our area!

GOD Bless you all!

Thanks for checking in Curtis. We are so glad that you and your family are okay and will continue to pray that the water recedes so you can get back to a normal life and resume work. It breaks our heart to see such devastation for so many. Prayers will continue for all in this tragedy.
