Re-Introduction
« on: September 23, 2017, 08:46:57 PM »
Hello all.  I've just signed up after a several year absence from the forum.  I worked all day around the garden.  It's been hard lately to find the  time to do so!

You probably had to sign up/register again anyway. The forum crashed about that time and all of the valuable info got sent into cyber space.

Welcome back from another cabinet maker also X 2  LOL ~!~!

It looks like I am in very good company.  Gardners and Cabinetmakers! :)

What are the size restrictions for pictures on the forum?

I'm a cabinetmaker as well. Owned a custom shop for about 10 years. Looking forward to doing it again one day...maybe in retirement...just for family and friends though. No deadlines to meet, no employees, no headaches...

No website for me.  I do all my work for one larger shop nowadays.  No hassle with running down work and money!

On July 13th we  completed our 32nd year in business.

We gave up our last employees back in 1987. We like to say all of our employees these days all plug into the wall and we couldn't be happier.

No one complaining, screwing something up or not showing up to work.

We no longer have to worry about covering paychecks nor the insurances that go along with having employees.

If we have work we turn on the lights and go after it. Long days for me and my husband is not a problem we have always worked long after our employees went home. If we do not have a job going we lock the door and enjoy our time off. No more chasing work.

We worked hard, went without and saved every penny we could over the years. It is our time to work on our property and enjoy being "mostly" retired.
