Bamboo poles
« on: July 07, 2018, 01:57:38 PM »
Several years ago some folks started planting bamboo in the area.  These things spread rather quick. My ? is Im going to cut some for bank pole fishing. These are green and about 10' high. Do I need to cure these poles or just cut and use ? If needed cured what the method?

    Thanks    Rick

As a kid that's all we ever used, we would cut the nice straight ones, clean off all the leaves and place them on top of a shade that had a flat roof, we would leave them there for a couple weeks, until the dried, then Dad would place the in side the shade, we always had some spares
