So many criminals EVERYWHERE these days. Seems like the only ones NOT becoming victims are the ones who are armed !!

When the date 11 seconds,11 minutes , 11 o'clock , on 11 month came , I found this with the number 11.

(2 digits) 11 x 11 = 121

(6 digits) 111111 x 111111 = 12345654321

(9 digits) 111111111 x 111111111 = 12345678987654321

I saw something pertaining to this type of memory once on tv----maybe
60 Minutes....??? It is fascinating. I have the craziest memory in our family. I used to blow my Mother's mind telling her things that she said I was only 1 yr old, when it happened. I remember and can describe some of my clothes such as my first swimsuit I had at age 2,etc. I remember tiny details about things and events from an insanely young age. I can rattle off phone numbers of all my friends in high school to this day. I have never written down birthdays or anniversaries in our large, extended family( or hubby's), because I just never forget them. However, I am no where near like the people in the article. If you give me a date way far back, I could never recall the events of that particular day.

Woodchip...I have noticed some slippage on the short term memory----makes me nervous!! But the crazy detailed long term is still functioning. I have to tell my younger brother  things he did as a child, because he says he doesn't remember much at all before the age of 13 or 14. He had asthma and allergies as a child, so maybe they gave him some meds back then that affected his memory of those years.

our forum member and friend, Ben , was visiting on the phone when he mentioned how well I could remember the events based around pictures I've been showing from the past. My explanation was that Jewel could remember details which would sometimes ring my bell, but the pictures from the 50s had many details written on the back. On our travels later in life she always carried notebooks & pretty well documented everything. I believe we all have inner gifts of something  special, memory, artist, music, etc. Mine seems to have been in business, but only in connection with the trade I already had. Memory is a fantastic subject.

Crazy horse----it is the most OVERUSED word now for sure. At least it is better than when all the politicians and talking heads got hung up (ad nauseum) on the phrase, "At the end of the day...."!!  It got to where I cringed every time I heard it.

Mrs Rabbit, I agree.

We "just might" get tired of hearing this news before summer 2018 is over. ;D

Thanks for posting the link to the Mesa Valley Ranch Mr. Crazyhorse. It looks like a spectacular property and shows what an endless amount of money can do. Many, many years of hard work to transform the water features and his conservation efforts look magnificent. I hope this Ranch falls into the right hands so that the conservation efforts can continue. I also followed the link to the YouTube video of the Ranch on LinkedIn and it is something to see.

Mr BB, I agree with you.
I hope it falls into good hands as well.

It sure would be a shame to see some one destroy what has took many , many years to build.
