Mr Okie , I agree with you.

It seems like we all just keep "putting up" with  them pushing a little here a little there.

My wife and I can and put up in the freezer too but we still buy some food and we too "hope" if it is safe or not.

Mr Bonrien, that was a fast alligator. ;D

                                                          HEADLINES

Nothing can stop true love, or a good kiss, not even armed robbery
This incident happened in Billings, Montana, the entire hold up & kiss was caught on surveillance
I sure understand the moment of affection , Jewel & I never hid our kisses but I don't know if we could have kissed through a hold up.

Crazyhorse, there was a talented, happy, beautiful wife of the Pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Dallas named Peggy Railey who lived 25 years in a horrible condition after being attacked in her home. All the evidence pointed to her husband who was found out to be having an affair at the same time. Jewel was in a tennis club along with the wife of one of the lead detectives on this case. She told Jewel  about some of the ways this man tried to kill his wife. Everybody concerned knew he did it but couldn't be proved in court. My own thoughts of this man was and still is that he is one pitiful sorry Son-Of-A Bitch & if I had been Peggy's brother he wouldn't be alive today.

Mr Monroe , that is sad.

I can't understand why a couple won't get a divorce if they are not happy.

Crazyhorse my remarks about this scum were strong because she had been strangled with weed- eater line, WD40 sprayed down her throat with a shop rag stuffed in her mouth. After the trial Jewel's tennis friend told them what her husband saw at the scene in the garage. Jewel said everybody present cried as she told this. They had two small children, the little boy said, I think my daddy did something, there was belief the boy witnessed something.

Mr Monroe,  It is sad that a man would do that to his wife (or anyone else).

Was it Flip Wilson that said "the devil made me do it" ?

I'd like to see what percentage of corn goes toward ethanol production vs human or animal feed? I have a feeling it's significantly more going to ethanol. Also, what percentage is GMO corn or, is it all gmo now?

Thanks for the links, guys! Actually, I thought the ethanol percentage was even larger than the 30% shown in the two graphs.  I was also surprised to see that it takes less than two pounds of corn to produce a one pound gain in a chicken but, six pounds of corn to produce one pound of beef! So, I guess chickens are a better investments than cattle?

I doubt it being news worthy , but I had never heard of Prince before he died. I was beginning to think I must have been the only one until Friday at the coffee shop when our Reverend friend said he never heard of him either.

This is a little old but still interesting.

Does anyone know if  the home owner  got paid for his house?

All the more reason to double down on our gardening and preserving.  God only knows what they're feeding us.  Oats isn't the only crop they spray just before harvest to make it easier for their machinery.  They say it doesn't matter because we don't eat the husk/hulls.  I firmly believe endocrine disruption and imbalanced gut flora are at the root of many of our ailments and the cleaner our  food, the better.
Try and you might, don't and you won't.

Ms Mato, I agree.
You said it much better than I could .

If we knew what was in our food that we buy , we probably would not believe it.
