Sunny and clear here too AND a cold front coming next week to drop the low temp to the 60's.

spent 40 minutes in the well house last night due to a tornado warning.  they spotted a funnel forming down over mecklenburg county (which is where charlotte is) and issued tornado warnings for several counties for the path the storm cell was taking through the area...which included right over our house.  we lucked out and did not get a tornado here, but we figured better safe than sorry.  it was a heck of a storm though.  i was just grateful it was cool yesterday and it was not too hot in the well house.

G'day Guys,
It is currently 0 degrees Celsius, windy  & snowing down to sea level as tassie is, according to the bureau of meteorology , apparently it is the beginning of a monster storm cell that will get worse over the next few days as it passes to the mainland.Just what we need right now as the fruit trees are in bloom & or budding with all these  crazy weather patterns.
                               Regards Pete

Thanks Chipp,
I am trying to salvage some of my raised beds that had been buried by the white stuff which normally don't get down to our level. The apple growers will be right because they all still look like sticks but our apricots ,Plumbs Citrus will cop it good. So I Guess , Compared to what you guys have been copping with this is tiny potatoes.I don't know about climate change but it sure don't seem to be Global warming in my neck of the planet to me!

It is 66 degrees here now and beautifully clear. The stars are shining bright and it was a great night to spend outside with friends.

It's nice and cool here too. It was 57 this morning. I will be doing some garden cleaning this weekend. Sure is odd for this time of year though.

Noah came by, stopped for a couple of beers yesterday,  Then a little gal named Dorothy and her little dog Todo floated by asking which way is Kansas?

Just Kidding, where I'm at its not bad at all.. just a steady rain..

with irma swinging west it took NC out of the danger bubble.  it is very overcast and rainy here, but a nice steady rain with only some occasional heavy downpours.  it is cool with the high yesterday around 60.  today they said it was supposed to go to the low 70's, but with no sun out there i am not sure it will make it.  right now it is still cool and damp out.

supposedly it is going back into the low 80's by the end of this week.  my plants should love that!

We had 7 days of cool and low humidity days with the highest being 79° F.  Well the A/C unit went out yesterday and it was 87° outside today and looking at the thermometer in side it is 79° inside with the windows open and the fans running.

I am waiting on the A/C repairman, he is supposed to be here this afternoon.  I wonder how we made it as a kid with only window fans, I am dying here right now.
