Nice,,, that first clip is old...

Like the difference between Cajun and Creole cooking there is also a difference between Cajun and Zydeco music..

Both of those where Cajun in my book..well  the first one. not sure what the Muppets was called... in a nut shell Zydeco is a "Black Cajun" version of the music..

Like Zook said, the first one is Cajun music.  The second is someone’s attempt at Zydeco.

WC, we still listen to that daily on the best radio station around, get a 1 month SUB to KBON, they stream and you'll have a blast and come back with 1000 questions. So I goggle KBON on youtube and I find BOO, BAAHAAHAA!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCRle5CULBU

Woodchip,

Put Cajun in your Pandora, that's the real Louisiana music.

Boo turned me on to Cedric Watson's song and he gives a good explanation about Cajun, Zydeco and French fiddle playing. It's worth the watch, it's in the 3rd link but check out his young man's remake.

Cedric Watson is the best Cajun player you never heard of... he was a big part of the Pine Leaf boys,, Wilson Savoie is the lead of that group..

I wanted to explain where this was filmed. Alex Broussard's Ranch was like a mini Grand Ole Opry. Almost every country singer that had a top 100 hit played there and I'm so lucky because it was in my backyard(almost).
