They are Maggie. My wife and I had a small piece for desert tonight and while we haven't been eating sweets in a long time, it was very enjoyable. I froze the other one and will share this one we cut with some friends.

Thanks Double B >< the first slice of Buttermilk pie I had was back in the 70s some where down in Texas some where west of Houston, we stopped in a small town, we went to a small Café for our supper meal and that's where I first ran across Buttermilk Pie, that was the only sweet left, I am glad that was the case, because had there been another choice I would have likely taken the other, It Sure was GOOD, I have saved this recipe
Thanks Rat

Made two pies yesterday. - Man, talk about good!  Now I have two pies (well 1 and a half) looking at me whenever I go to the coffee pot.  This will not turn out good.  Thanks! Bill

Bill,

I am glad you are enjoying your pies. I went ahead and froze one of mine so it wouldn't be calling my name every time I walked by ;D

It still haunts my from the deep freeze though.
