Disc harrow

I have a old Brinly dd1000 dsc I changed to fit my farmpro tractor the disc are worn I was thinking of putting notched disc on it do they work better with them thanks for any advice

Rcs1, I think it depends on what you what it to do. Some have notched discs on the front row to "chew" the grown and smooth discs on the next row to smooth out the grown and leave a more even plant bed. If you are going to replace very many discs you can probably purchase a used disc cheaper.

It has 16 disc on it and the only place I can get them is agri supply they carry 12 inch ones so for now I just want to change the front ones thanks
