These amazing lilies are ever enshrined in my heart as Daddy's flower.  They are blooming now and a great Fathers day gift.  Hope yall you Fathers have a great day.

Cappy - I thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog post.  Thanks for sharing the link.

Tiger lilies have a strong connection for me, too.  I'll always associate them with my grandmother in Oklahoma.  They grew in her flowerbed in front of the small farmhouse she and my grandfather lived in.  As a kid, I was always fascinated by the bright color and exotic spots of the blooms. 
Location: Orange, Tx; Southeast Gulf Coast, zone 9a.  Small home garden.
