High wheel cultivator
« on: September 29, 2017, 11:11:51 AM »
I have an old metal cultivator that's been in the family for over 60 years. Granny gave it to dad and dad gave it to me.  Has 5 tines on it and I need to replace some tines as they are worn down on some.  Anyone know where I an find the tines or a blacksmith who can make some? I know I can get a new cultivator but this has sentimental value. Thanks Sam

Sam you might consider finding a weld shop an they might be able to add weld bead an then grind it back to original shape.  Shouldn't be too expensive.  Also I find those cultivator heads at for markets an garage sales ever once in a while an I buy them for my art cause I use them for chicken tails, cause I have two in the art show this weekend.

I have the cultivators that he was probably talking about, probably just shopping around to see it he could get them, were going to give them to that person but that offer has expired.
