Whiskeydog......I just bought "Hot Banana Pepper plants" from Home Depot 2 yrs ago.....and they set me on fire pretty well. That was the only description given on the plant. When first harvesting, I popped one in my mouth thinking these are probably not very hot....Whoa!!!!!!

We have purchased Hungarian hot wax peppers for a few years now, but I have never saved any seeds but if I last long enough I will let a few peppers fully mature an save you some seeds.  I can tell you that the plants we have are prolific an they have a slow burn but it is there.  We made hot pepper jelly the other day with 3 kinds of hot peppers an the hhwp were one of the 3 an no sweet peppers that most recipes call for.  We also used a couple dozen jalapenos an a few hhwp to make hot pepper salt that Rob Owens posted a while back, an the only thing I have used it on was a bake potato last night an some cantaloupe an oh baby you can kick cantaloupe to a new taste level!
