.....and a few more pics of the toys for the tractor.
Got the Tiller (brand new) last week and the cultivator back in November for $130.   A little steel brushing, paint and elbow grease and it looks good as new.  I did miss my mark on the Kubota "orange".......more like Hunter Orange.
Oh well, I should be safe in November/December.... ;D

A week ago, I planted 5 pounds of GroundHog Radish, 4 pounds of Rape and 2 pounds of Turnips.
I planted with a hand planter, tilled it all under a bit and let mother nature water it in. ;D
Here is the left half of my garden and the GroundHog Radish.  It's probably about 40x120 and coming along nicely.    The greens are a little bit behind the radish, but no worries.  It's all for tilling in later on.

Looking good ccat!

As far as the paint you can get the colors at tractor supply to match. I know the new Holland blue is exact. The kubota orange looks exactly the same also

Mother Nature has done a good job germinating your seeds.
That is a nice size garden.

Ran the overhead in various spots on the greens today but mowed the 5 acres and swept a bunch of it to finally start my compost.
My good friend (Country Toad) gave me the recipe for some beer/soda/ammonia concoction to help kickstart the compost pile.
I will spray it down this weekend and add more grass and coffee grounds as well.
When residents of Athens start putting bags of leaves on the curb next month, I'll swoop in a reap the rewards and spread them on the pile too.
Here's the start of my compost pile.

Keep it watered and turned with just that grass. It'll make a mat and won't let water get to the bottom and turn to mush and stink.

I sure will.  I'll use the tractor to turn it and will every few days.
I am waiting on the leaves to fall so I can add that.
