AH MAN, Rest in Peace Mr. Donald and prayers to the family.

He may be gone but will never be forgotten, he inspired more people than we know and his videos live on to continue teaching and reminding us all of when, what and how to plant the right way. He'll be missed and I hope we can continue to keep the site going to keep his legacy alive.

RIP Mr. Donald, Heaven gained a good soul.

Ooh no. This makes me so sad. He was a kind friend to all of us and will be greatly missed. I wish I had told him that.     Heaven has gained what we have lost for a while.

I have not been able to verify this about our Donald, but I have found an Obituary for a "Donald Ducote" from the same area for his passing away on May 29th of this year.

I hope this is the information that may have started this.  I pray our friend is still with us.

Mr. Donald passed away mid morning today due to a heart attack. His family and friends are all in our prayers. He's now once again with his wife Mary whom passed away in March of this year. He will greatly be missed.

I sit here with tears in my eyes and have no words that can say what I truly feel. Over the past couple of years Donald and I have had several conversations by phone and numerous conversations by messages and recently we spoke of my cancer and what was going on with me. After the passing of his wife I would check on him and on July 20th he told me he had family living with him and they were a big help. Why am I writing this? I don't know but I do know I've lost a good and gentle friend.

Very sad news. RIP Donald. I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to meet him, shake his hand and have a chat with him back in Oct 2017 at the GTG. Sincere condolences to Donald’s family and friends. Through the forum and his gardening videos he has touched so many people over the years and across the continents, he will be missed very much so.
